License Agreement

About your license with the HTML2PDF API service

This license governs the limited use of the HTML2PDF API as well as the free web service. Please observe this agreement as well as the Terms and Conditions of our service. If we find you are in violation of this agreement then we will refuse further service to you.

Free Usage

A license is granted to all visitors of our website to use the main page of our website to convert webpages to PDF for free. This license is ONLY granted for manual usage.

You are explicitly NOT ALLOWED to use automated tools to try to take advantage of the free conversion service.

We may add an attribution in the form of a footer, an image and/or other identifying marks on the free PDFs created with our site. We kindly ask that you keep those. If you decide to manually remove those then you are allowed to do so. Automated removal of these identifying marks is NOT allowed.

Paid Usage

With your purchase of a paid license you acquire a license for automated usage of our HTML2PDF API.

Each license will come with several usage limits:

  • The total amount of PDFs in a given period that the license is for (for example a Basic license allows for 500PDFs per month)
  • The amount of time that a conversion can take; For standard licenses this is set to 60 seconds.
  • The number of concurrent conversions that you can make; For paid licenses this is set to 8, but we reserve the right to adjust this in the case of clear service abuse.

We offer custom license agreements and service level agreements for enterprise customers. Please inquire for more details.

Refund policy

HTML2PDF is under no obligation to refund your license in any situation. Nonetheless we will refund the first month of your business license if you encounter problems that we are not able to help you with or other reasons that we think are reasonable. It is imperative that you first try to seek help from us before cancelling and requesting a refund or we won't be able to process a refund for you.

You will not be able to receive a refund in the following cases:

  • you request a refund for any period other than the first period of your subscription
  • you have not tried to contact us for help with your issues or you have not clearly demonstrated your issues with the service
  • you have used a trial license or another license in the past and therefore this is not your first usage
  • you have used our service for fraudulent purposes or you exhibit improper conduct wrt our service
